The Basic Terminology

Ace:
A serve which is not touched or not returned by the receiving team, then the serving team gets the point.

Block:
The defense team in which two or three front line players on the same team block the oppents shot.

Dive:
The player uses his or her entire body toward the floor in an effort to under a low hit ball.

Fake:
The frontcourt players hit the ball as if they will spike it but they fake it and allows the ball to go for another teammate to hit it.

Jump Set:
A set to the defense team, by a set player who stirkes the ball while jumping in the air.

Kill:
A smash hit from a frontcourt player. Which the oppisite side cannot return it.

Setter:
A player who uses the overhand pass to set the ball up to a front line player.

Tip:
The player uses its fingertips to tip it over softly.

Jump Serve:
You throw the ball up in the air, jump at a good timing and hit it.

There is a lot more but it was just to much for me to type out.
